Student Activities

Technical Innovators and Entrepreneurs Society (TIES) is a chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization and its goal is to bring an entrepreneurial culture to the Missouri S&T campus. The vision of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization is to be the premier global entrepreneurship network serving more than 500 colleges and universities. Its mission is to inform, support, and inspire college students to be entrepreneurial and seek opportunity through enterprise creation.

Objectives of TIES

-   To promote entrepreneurship on campus
-   Work closely with Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach to promote business development and entrepreneurship in the community
-   Help student innovators develop a business intellect to help them materialize their goals
-   To attain a stage where TIES will exhibit real time experience of running a business as a team
-   Develop Individual skills essential to be a successful entrepreneur
-   Be an active member and an integral part of the national Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization

 Lecturer Series

The Lecturer Series brings to campus eminent entrepreneurs, innovators, and scholars who can reach beyond disciplines to address wider segments of the University community.  Its challenge is to share the excitement of entrepreneurship and real-world experiences to stimulate the minds of students and faculty.
