Technical Innovators and Entrepreneurs Society (TIES)
This student organization is a chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization which is an entrepreneurship network that serves more than 500 colleges and universities. The goal of TIES is to bring an entrepreneurial culture to the Missouri S&T campus. The vision of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization is to be the premier global entrepreneurship network. Its mission is to inform, support, and inspire college students to be entrepreneurial and seek opportunity through enterprise creation.

MIS 111 Entrepreneurial Scholars Class
Entrepreneurial Scholars is a non-credit course open to students residing or intending to reside in The Residential College. Members of the class explore innovation and entrepreneurship through experiential learning and interdisciplinary team collaboration. This course is an introduction to the essentials of entrepreneurship and new business venture development. It is designed for students with an interest in starting a business or working for a start-up company during their professional career.
